MuddyCreek Revegetation Project

To our newsletter editors, chapter presidents, steadfast TU faithful.....Okay folks, you've asked for it, paid for it, now it's here!! Volunteers are NEEDED on the Muddy Creek Project, see the attached timeline for details, directions for meeting place below....To start let's get the Oct 19 planting accomplished, the future sites will require significantly more volunteers....I would like 6-8 volunteers on the 19th at the designated meeting site. If more folks are available, I can also use 4-6 folks to work up on the Steels Creek project with the USFS, raking some gravel, spreading mulch, moving some rocks....meeting time is 9 am for that project, at the end of the road on lower steels creek, left off HWY 181 N out of Morganton, (just before the road to the right to Upper Creek). Please disseminate this request far and wide, newsletters, websites, emails, etc...have volunteers email me direct and let me know which project/future project they will work on. I'm outta here til the 15th, relying on you all to spread the word. Will check email on return, hoping for plenty of volunteer.

Replys.....please.. Squeak Smith
